Video detector VIDIK-P v3
The VIDIK drone video detector is a device for intercepting video from drones, which automatically searches for video and immediately displays it on the screen when found. The VIDIK video interceptor has several modifications and is capable of finding video signals in the 1.2G range from 850 to 2200 MHz, in the 3.3G range from 2800 to 4150 MHz, and in the 5G range from 4850 to 6100 MHz.
OUR COMPANY IS THE MANUFACTURER OF VIDIK DETECTORS, AND WE ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO PERFORM WARRANTY AND SERVICE REPAIRS. WE WOULD BE GRATEFUL FOR FEEDBACK ON YOUR WISHES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR DETECTOR!
The VIDIK video interceptor is mass-produced, has successfully passed tests and checks at training grounds and in real conditions, and we are ready to fulfill industrial-scale orders. Our team is constantly working on improving and implementing new functionality. Please note! The detector cannot intercept digitally encoded or encrypted video, for example from Mavic, Autel, Zala, and other UAVs. This detector is designed to intercept unencrypted analog video signals from FPV drones.

The VIDIK drone detector is available in four versions:
Option #1 VIDIK-P Portable interceptor for 2 bands (1.2 GHz and 5.8 GHz). Everything is assembled in a single housing for portable use. Screen, receivers, antennas, rechargeable battery—all in one convenient housing.
Option #2 VIDIK-S Stationary interceptor for 2 bands (1.2 GHz and 5.8 GHz). It has a separate screen from the receiver with antennas connected by a twisted pair UTP cable. This option is more effective for use in a car, on armor, in a trench, and other similar situations. The uniqueness of this solution lies in the fact that the separation from the screen does not impair reception or signal quality, since the signal processed by the receiver is transmitted from the receiver to the screen via twisted pair. On the contrary, this solution has a positive effect and improves reception and the range of video signal interception in the areas of application specified in this section.
Option #3 VIDIK-P v3 Portable interceptor for 3 bands (1.2 GHz, 3.3 GHz, and 5.8 GHz). Everything is assembled in a single housing for portable use. The screen, receivers, antennas, and rechargeable battery are all in one convenient housing.
Option #4 VIDIK-S v3 Stationary interceptor for 3 bands (1.2 GHz, 3.3 GHz, and 5.8 GHz). It has a separate screen from the receiver with antennas connected by a UTP twisted pair cable. This option will be more effective for use in a car, on armor, in a trench, and other similar situations. The uniqueness of this solution lies in the fact that it is spaced apart.
For information on which option to choose for the P or S video detector:
Connecting the antenna and receiver with a coaxial cable results in signal loss. For example, with a 10-meter RG-58 cable in the 5G range, signal loss will be approximately 17 dB, taking into account the connectors, i.e., the signal at the antenna itself will be 7 times better than through a coaxial cable. If we take an RG-8 cable, then in this band and at this frequency, signal loss will be approximately 7 dB, taking into account the connectors, i.e., the signal will be 2.2 times worse. What if you need to move the antenna 30 meters away? Even the use of LNA amplifiers can only partially compensate for the lost signal, because it amplifies the useful signal and adds its own extra noise. If you plan to move the antennas away from the receiver, we recommend ordering the VIDIK S model.
How the VIDIK video interceptor works:
After turning on, the detector automatically starts scanning the airwaves at 2 MHz intervals and searching for a video signal. You don't need to press any buttons to start scanning. Scanning is performed automatically across all frequency ranges simultaneously! The screen does not light up, but a flashing red LED on the front panel of the device indicates that the video detector is searching. If VIDIK intercepts a video signal from a drone, it automatically stops at that video, the screen turns on instantly, emits an audible signal, and the red LED stays lit. To turn off the sound, press the I button; the next time you scan the intercepted video, the audible signal will sound again. The screen displays the intercepted frequency at which the video was found in the upper left corner, and the RSSI signal level is displayed at the top center of the screen; the higher the number, the stronger the signal level. If you want to skip a video found during scanning, for example, a video from your drone, or if the detector stops at a certain frequency by mistake, press the I button for 10 seconds and the word Ignore will appear on the screen with that frequency. If you want to continue scanning, press the up or down button. The difference between the buttons is that when you press up, the scan will increase in frequency and return in a circle, and when you press down, it will decrease in frequency and return in a circle. The time for a full scan is approximately 15-20 seconds. The video signal is scanned by frequency in 2 MHz steps, not by channels. The + and - buttons are used to smoothly adjust the frequency in 2 MHz increments. While the video is displayed on the screen, the detector does not scan subsequent videos at other frequencies. It is advisable to switch to scan mode from time to time to find new video interceptions.
Video detection and interception range:
This is a very common and widespread question, but there is no single answer to it. We can only provide statistics based on the average feedback from our users. Why is there no answer to this question?
The range of video signal interception depends on the following conditions:
- The power of the transmitter to be intercepted?
- The operating frequency range (1.2 GHz, 3.3 GHz, 5.8 GHz)?
- The flight altitude of the drone?
- The terrain?
- The passage of radio waves?
Of course, no one knows these conditions in advance, so it is incorrect to focus on specific distances. In order not to confuse users, we will give a few examples that were actually obtained by our team at the test sites:
- The transmitter power was 2 W
- Operating frequency in the 5.8 GHz range
- The drone's flight altitude was 200-300 meters above the ground
- Terrain relief - flat
- Radio wave propagation - a normal sunny day.
Under these conditions, the interception distance was 4000-6500 meters.
The maximum feedback from users was as follows: at 1.2 GHz, they caught a signal at 8 km, and there were situations when, with a directional antenna, they received a stable video signal at a distance of 10 km at 3.3 GHz. Of course, no one knows the transmitter power in these situations.
The cost of the product does not include shipping costs. When sending the detector via Nova Poshta LLC, the order is insured for its full value!
